Affiliation

The National Cavy Club proudly offers an affiliation service to all local and specialist breed clubs. For a very reasonable annual fee the National welcomes affiliation from clubs throughout the United Kingdom. Affiliation with the National Cavy Club means that your club and its members are insured and protected against accidents occurring within your show hall. When affiliated to the National, and holding shows under NCC rules, affiliated clubs mat apply to host NCC Stock Shows and to hold NCC Points shows making your own show automatically a NCC 5* show. If that’s not enough your members will also be able to participate in the NCC Star Competition.

The full benefits of affiliation for your club

  • Automatic insurance and public liability cover up to £2.5m for all shows held by your fully affiliated club during the year. Insurance covers exhibitors, visitors and workers against accidents received whilst at each of your club’s shows specified throughout the year.
  • Automatic Star Scheme participation for all members.
  • Full National Executive Committee advice and/or mediation where requested to affiliated club with internal disputes or problems.
  • Specimen club rules are available for your club to use or adapt as you wish (or not to adapt if you already have your own), so long as no rule conflicts with those of the NCC.
