Proposal 2

Rule 7: Judging panel

7.1 | The National Cavy Club shall compile a Recognised Judging Panel (RJP) on the 1st January each year. Judges to be known as NCC Recognised Judges. The RJP shall comprise …. so long as such judges fulfil the criteria of being a continuous member of the NCC for at least the previous five three years and are 18 years or older…

Proposal 3

Rule 7: Judging panel

New 7.12 [other numbers updated] | Reinstatement of judges. A judge may be reinstated to the NCC Judging Panel after a period of 3 years continual membership to the club if they have previously been a NCC judge, without the requirement of going through the Judge Training Scheme, on application to and ratification by the Executive.

Rule 7: Judging panel

7.17 | NCC judges and potential NCC judges are required to maintain a list of events they have attended in full (proforma available from the NCC Secretary) and to produce such evidence of attendance on request and as required.  Those organising the events are not expected to make a judgement regarding any attendee’s performance, ability or knowledge. To maintain the knowledge and competency of judges, to be eligible to seek election to the Executive Panel, judges must participate in at least one Judge Training Seminar, or equivalent approved educational activity, or have judged three open shows, in the 24 months ending 31st May of the year preceding the National’s biennial ballot.
